This is an informational portfolio website. I process personal data only where necessary to provide a functional website and its content.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) and delivered via its content delivery network (CDN). A data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR is in place with Cloudflare; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

When you visit this website, the web server automatically collects information transmitted by your browser — in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred and your internet service provider. This log data is used solely to ensure reliable operation and to defend against attacks, and is deleted automatically after a short period.

Processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, namely my legitimate interest in providing a technically reliable and secure website. This data is not combined with other data sources.

4. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies, analytics services or tracking technologies.

5. Fonts (self-hosted)

The “Jost” typeface used on this website is hosted locally and delivered from the website’s own server. No IP addresses are transmitted to Google Fonts or other external font services.

6. External links

This website links to my Instagram profile. Data is transferred to the relevant provider only after you follow the link. I have no control over the content or data processing practices of the linked website.

7. Contact by email

If you contact me by email, I store the information you provide in order to process your enquiry and respond to any follow-up questions. Processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability (Article 20) and objection (Article 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority: State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia.
